Yahoo’s My Web should say “filter this through people,” or even better, “filter this through people I trust”
there are no bad links when I search My Web because it’s people in my trusted network"

Sounds like you're talking about Outfoxed [http://getoutfoxed.com/]. It's a plugin for Firefox that combines social networks with web searching. I haven't had the time to try it myself, but it looks pretty cool.
