Search plug-in addiction
I created like 4 firefox search plug-ins yesterday and a greasemonkey script. Well, I actually customized ones I found but 2 of them are now listed on http://mycroft.mozdev.org/download.html?submitform=Find&category=14 . You can search on my name. The other 2 are a intranet-type deal and a MetaLib search. It was actually much easier than I thought it would be.

I am interested in the Metalib plugin for FireFox. You say it is an Intranet feature? What does it do?
There were two plugins I didn't upload to the Mozilla site: 1) a search plugin to access our intranet enterprise search appliance (Google) 2)a metalib search to search the engineering databases. We have the metalib federated search, this allows people from my institution to search across the various engineering research databases from the search block in the upper right part of the firefox browser. I modified the code from the Ford Library at Duke (http://www.lib.duke.edu/fsb/firelib.htm). I can probably post the code on Tuesday if it's of interest.
