Requesting Comments... In my stealth role as doctoral student, I have an opportunity to contribute to a discussion on "core" course content in the areas of Information Access and Collection Development for Masters of Library Science students. I've reviewed comments and discussion related to Meredith's posts (1) (2) and I also have some pretty strong opinions based on my work as a public library librarian, a solo librarian, and a research lab librarian.
