Walt Crawford did a study of the middle ground of the biblioblogosphere - a few subscribers, but not a-listers.

You got it in one: With more than 240 Bloglines subscribers in all, you're too widely-read for the slice I was looking at. (So am I, for that matter. So are somewhere between 90 and 100 other libloggers. There are worse problems than substantial readership.)
Sorry about that. With unlimited time and unlimited space, I could do a comprehensive survey--except that it wouldn't be comprehensive by the time it appeared.
