Hey science librarians...
The folks at ScienceBlogs.com would like to know why you read ScienceBlogs (both ScienceBlogs and science blogs, probably). Feel free to e-mail the editorial office directly (editorial at scienceblogs.com), or comment here, or respond via twitter @cpikas, or on friendfeed.
I read science library blogs for insights and reflections into current events (publisher embarrassments and such) as well as professional issues (such as information literacy) but too often they just talk about recent acquisitions and other news for library users.
This is my blog on library and information science. I'm into Sci/Tech libraries, special libraries, personal information management, sci/tech scholarly comms.... My name is Christina Pikas and I'm a librarian in a physics, astronomy, math, computer science, and engineering library. I'm also a doctoral student at Maryland. Any opinions expressed here are strictly my own and do not necessarily reflect those of my employer or CLIS. You may reach me via e-mail at cpikas {at} gmail {dot} com.
